BlackBox Learning is designed to provide students with a disciplined, collaborative, and growth-oriented learning ecosystem where they can develop technical expertise, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and professional confidence.

Certain opportunities such as internships, placement assistance, recommendation letters, advanced mentorship, and Skill Credential Certifications may only be available to eligible students who successfully meet the academy’s academic, attendance, and professional standards.
By enrolling in BlackBox Learning, students acknowledge that they are joining a professional learning ecosystem built around discipline, accountability, consistency, collaboration, and career development.
2. STUDENT RULES & CODE OF CONDUCT
To maintain a healthy, professional, and career-focused learning environment, all students enrolled in BlackBox Learning are expected to follow the standards and guidelines outlined below.
2.1 Professional Conduct
Students are expected to:
- Maintain respectful and professional communication with mentors, trainers, staff members, recruiters, clients, and fellow students
- Participate actively in classes, projects, assessments, workshops, and academy activities
- Follow academic instructions and professional guidelines shared by mentors and academy representatives
- Maintain discipline during live sessions, meetings, internship activities, evaluations, and community interactions
- Contribute positively to the academy learning ecosystem
BlackBox Learning is committed to maintaining a professional environment similar to modern industry workplaces and collaborative tech teams.
To preserve the quality of the learning ecosystem, the academy may take necessary action in situations involving misconduct, abusive behavior, harassment, academic dishonesty, disruption, or activities that negatively affect students, mentors, staff members, recruiters, or academy operations.
2.2 Anti-Harassment & Respect Policy
BlackBox Learning is committed to providing a respectful, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.
The academy maintains a strict policy against:

The academy may restrict or remove community access in situations involving policy violations or activities that negatively affect the student experience.
2.5 Academic Integrity & Responsible AI Usage
BlackBox Learning encourages students to use modern productivity and AI tools responsibly for learning, research, experimentation, and workflow enhancement.
Tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Gemini, and similar AI systems may be used to support learning and productivity.
However, students are expected to:
- Submit original work
- Understand the work they submit
- Avoid blind copying
- Maintain academic honesty
- Build genuine technical and problem-solving skills
Submitting copied assignments, projects, portfolios, assessments, or case studies as original work is strictly discouraged.
In cases involving plagiarism, academic dishonesty, or repeated misuse of AI-generated content without understanding or contribution, the academy may:
- Request resubmission
- Reject assignments or projects
- Restrict certificate eligibility
- Restrict internship or placement support
- Suspend access in severe situations
- The academy’s goal is to help students build real industry-ready capabilities rather than dependency on copied work.
2.6 Professional Representation & Public Communication
Students are expected to maintain professionalism while publicly representing BlackBox Learning, its mentors, staff members, recruiters, clients, and fellow students.
Constructive feedback and genuine reviews are respected and encouraged.
However, malicious false statements, intentional reputational harm, targeted harassment, knowingly misleading public claims, or harmful public behavior directed toward the academy ecosystem may result in disciplinary review and further action where necessary.
3. ACADEMIC POLICIES
3.1 Attendance Policy
Consistent attendance and active participation are strongly encouraged as live engagement plays an important role in mentorship interaction, project collaboration, skill development, and career readiness.
Placement & Skill Credential Eligibility
Students seeking:
- Skill Credential Certifications
- Internship opportunities
- Placement assistance
- Advanced career support services
are generally expected to maintain a minimum attendance of 90%.
Attendance standards are designed to ensure students receive sufficient practical exposure, mentorship interaction, evaluation readiness, and collaborative learning experience.
Course Completion Certificate
Students may still qualify for a standard Course Completion Certificate if they:
- Complete required coursework
- Submit assignments and projects
- Pass required evaluations
- Clear all pending fee payments
Attendance alone does not determine Course Completion Certificate eligibility.
3.2 Assignments, Projects & Practical Learning
Assignments, practical tasks, projects, assessments, and portfolio development activities form an essential part of the BlackBox Learning experience.
Students are expected to:
- Submit assignments within reasonable timelines
- Complete practical projects and exercises
- Follow project guidelines shared by mentors
- Maintain quality and professionalism in submissions
- Participate actively in hands-on learning activities
Practical implementation and consistent execution are considered important components of industry readiness.
- Students who do not complete mandatory academic requirements may experience restrictions related to evaluations, certifications, internships, or placement eligibility.
3.3 Portfolio Requirements
Students applying for placement assistance or advanced career support opportunities may be required to complete:
- Resume/CV preparation
- LinkedIn profile setup
- GitHub profile maintenance
- Portfolio website development
- Industry-style projects and case studies
- Mock interview preparation
The academy may evaluate portfolio quality, project completion, communication standards, and professional readiness before recommending students for career opportunities.
3.4 Examinations & Evaluations
Depending on the program structure, students may be required to complete:
- Internal assessments

- Final examinations

Skill Credential Certificate
Skill Credential Certifications are designed to recognize students who demonstrate strong consistency, participation, professionalism, practical capability, and academic performance.
Eligibility may include:

- Fee clearance
- Professional conduct standards
BlackBox Learning reserves the right to withhold certifications in situations involving severe misconduct, academic dishonesty, incomplete submissions, or unresolved dues.
4. LMS & DIGITAL USAGE POLICY
4.1 LMS Access
Students are provided limited, non-transferable access to the BlackBox Learning LMS and digital learning systems.
LMS access is intended solely for personal educational use within the academy ecosystem.
Enrollment, LMS access, certifications, mentorship access, internship eligibility, and placement support are non-transferable and intended solely for the officially enrolled student.
4.2 Authorized Device Usage
Students may use a limited number of authorized devices for accessing academy systems.
To maintain platform security and protect learning resources, the academy may monitor suspicious login activity and restrict unauthorized access where necessary.
4.3 Account Sharing Restrictions
Students must not:
- Share login credentials
- Share course access
- Allow third parties to use their accounts
Violation may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of access.
4.4 Anti-Piracy & Content Protection
All academy content including:
- Videos
- PDFs
- Notes
- Assignments
- Designs
- Recordings
- Source code
- LMS materials
- Educational assets
remain the intellectual property of BlackBox Learning and/or Daffodilcore Private Limited unless otherwise stated.
Students are expected to respect the intellectual property rights associated with academy materials.
Students must not:
- Redistribute protected content
- Re-upload academy materials publicly
- Sell or share paid resources
- Record classes without authorization
- Engage in piracy or unauthorized distribution
Unauthorized distribution or misuse of academy intellectual property may result in access restrictions, certificate cancellation, legal review, or other appropriate action.
4.5 Recorded Sessions
Recorded sessions are provided for educational reference and revision purposes.
Students may not:
- Redistribute recordings
- Share recordings externally
- Upload recordings to public platforms
- Use recordings for unauthorized commercial purposes
4.6 Recorded Content Access Duration
Access duration for recorded programs, archived sessions, downloadable resources, LMS systems, and digital learning materials may vary depending on the enrolled program structure and operational policies communicated during enrollment.
The academy reserves the right to reasonably update, archive, modify, discontinue, or restructure digital content access where necessary.
5. PLACEMENT & CAREER SUPPORT POLICY
5.1 Placement Assistance Disclaimer
BlackBox Learning actively works toward helping students become industry-ready through practical training, mentorship, portfolio building, interview preparation, real-world projects, and placement assistance.
The academy is committed to supporting student career growth and maximizing professional opportunities wherever possible.
However, final hiring decisions, compensation structures, employment outcomes, freelance opportunities, remote work opportunities, and recruiter selections are determined by external companies, market conditions, student performance, communication skills, technical readiness, and overall professional fit.
5.2 Placement Eligibility
Students seeking placement assistance are generally expected to:
- Maintain attendance standards with minimum of 90% attendance.
- Complete required projects and assignments
- Build professional portfolios
- Submit resume/CV materials
- Maintain LinkedIn and GitHub profiles
- Participate in mock interviews and evaluations
- Demonstrate professionalism and consistent participation
Students enrolled only in recorded learning programs may be required to complete additional evaluations before qualifying for placement support.
5.3 Placement Support Duration
Placement assistance may be provided for up to two years from the date of official course completion, subject to student performance, activity, professionalism, and eligibility status.
5.4 Placement Readiness Standards
Placement support is designed for students who consistently demonstrate professionalism, discipline, communication skills, academic progress, technical capability, and active participation throughout the program.
The academy may restrict or pause placement eligibility in situations involving:
- Incomplete academic requirements
- Low participation
- Repeated policy violations
- Academic dishonesty
- Unprofessional behavior
- Community guideline violations
- Activities negatively affecting recruiters, students, or academy reputation
5.5 Career Readiness Expectations
Students are encouraged to:
- Attend mock interviews
- Improve communication skills
- Build strong portfolios
- Participate in evaluations
- Maintain professionalism during interviews and recruiter interactions
- Continuously improve technical and practical skills
The academy may evaluate whether students are professionally prepared before recommending them for certain career opportunities.
Students representing BlackBox Learning during interviews, internships, networking events, recruiter interactions, workshops, or client-facing opportunities are expected to maintain professionalism, punctuality, respectful communication, and ethical conduct.
Repeated unprofessional behavior during recruiter or company interactions may affect placement eligibility or future recommendations.
5.6 Letter of Recommendation & Professional Reference
BlackBox Learning may provide Letters of Recommendation (LORs), professional references, or performance endorsements to exceptional students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance, discipline, professionalism, and consistency throughout the program.
Eligibility for such recognition may include, but is not limited to:
- Minimum 98% attendance
- 100% on-time project and assignment completion
- Minimum 90% scores in all examinations, evaluations, and mock interviews
- Strong professional conduct and communication
- Active participation and consistent performance throughout the course
The academy reserves the sole right to evaluate and determine a student’s eligibility for recommendation letters, references, endorsements, or special recognitions.
Issuance of recommendation letters or references is not guaranteed and may vary depending on student performance, conduct, and overall professional readiness.
6. INTERNSHIP RULES
Internship opportunities may be offered only to eligible students who qualify for the Skill Credential Certificate.
Internship eligibility may depend on:
- Attendance
- Performance
- Professional conduct
- Project quality
- Evaluation results
The academy reserves the right to determine:
- Internship mode (online/offline)
- Duration
- Project allocation
- Internship responsibilities
Students participating in internships may work on internal or client-related projects.
In such cases:
- Confidentiality agreements or NDAs may be mandatory
- Students must not disclose client information or internal workflows
- Work completed during internships may remain the property of the respective client or organization where applicable
Violations involving confidentiality breaches or misuse of client information may result in internship termination or additional action where necessary.
7. FEES & REFUNDS
7.1 Fee Structure
Students are expected to complete fee payments according to the agreed payment structure communicated during enrollment.
Installment durations may vary depending on the program structure.
7.2 Fee Clearance Requirement
Certificates, placement assistance, internships, and other academy services may be withheld until all outstanding dues are cleared.
7.3 Refund Policy
Registration Fees
Any registration fee, application fee, seat booking fee, admission fee, or enrollment confirmation amount paid to reserve a seat in a program is non-refundable.
Live Programs
Refund requests will not be accepted after one live class have been conducted.
Recorded Programs
Recorded courses are non-refundable under any circumstances once access has been granted.
Detailed refund terms are governed by the official Refund Policy published separately by the academy.
7.4 Payment Default
In situations involving incomplete installment payments or unresolved dues, the academy may temporarily restrict access to:

9. LEGAL, LIABILITY & COMPLIANCE TERMS
9.1 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These policies, academy operations, and all student relationships with BlackBox Learning and Daffodilcore Private Limited shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising from academy enrollment, services, policies, payments, certifications, internships, placements, LMS usage, or related activities shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.
9.2 Service Commitment & Limitation of Liability
BlackBox Learning is committed to delivering professional educational experiences, mentorship, academic support, and career-focused learning opportunities.
While the academy actively works toward supporting student growth and career development, outcomes may vary depending on factors including student participation, consistency, market conditions, recruiter requirements, communication skills, technical performance, and external hiring processes.
The academy shall not be held responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from employment decisions, recruiter actions, platform interruptions, third-party service failures, internet disruptions, or external business and market conditions.
Where applicable, the total liability of the academy shall not exceed the total amount paid by the student for the respective program.
9.3 Force Majeure
The academy shall not be held responsible for delays, interruptions, postponements, or service limitations caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Internet outages
- Cloud infrastructure failures
- Government restrictions
- Pandemics
- Political unrest
- Power failures
- Cybersecurity incidents
- Third-party software or platform failures
In such situations, the academy reserves the right to reasonably modify, reschedule, digitize, postpone, or restructure academic operations where necessary.
9.4 Third-Party Platforms & Services
Certain academy services may rely on third-party platforms, tools, cloud infrastructure providers, payment gateways, communication systems, LMS technologies, software integrations, or external service providers.
While the academy aims to work with reliable service providers, BlackBox Learning shall not be held directly responsible for outages, technical failures, platform disruptions, account restrictions, policy changes, payment gateway interruptions, or operational limitations caused by third-party systems beyond reasonable control.
9.5 Privacy, Data Usage & Consent
By enrolling in BlackBox Learning, students consent to the collection, storage, processing, and operational usage of academic and professional information including:

- Portfolio information
- LinkedIn and GitHub profiles
- Evaluation records
- LMS activity logs

Such information may be used for:

The academy will take reasonable measures to maintain data security and privacy.
9.6 Media & Showcase Consent
Students grant BlackBox Learning and Daffodilcore Private Limited permission to use:

- Classroom photographs
- Portfolio highlights
- Public reviews
- Event participation visuals
for educational, branding, recruitment, portfolio, advertising, promotional, and social media purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.
Sensitive personal information will not be publicly disclosed without appropriate consent.
9.7 Severability
If any provision of this handbook or academy policy is found to be invalid, unenforceable, or legally restricted under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall continue to remain fully valid and enforceable.
9.8 Dispute Resolution
In the event of disputes or disagreements, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through internal communication and support procedures.
Where necessary, unresolved matters may be referred to arbitration or legal review in accordance with applicable Indian laws.
9.9 Right To Restrict or Suspend Services
To maintain the quality, safety, and professionalism of the academy ecosystem, BlackBox Learning and Daffodilcore Private Limited reserve the right to temporarily restrict, suspend, or permanently terminate access to academy services in situations involving:
- Severe misconduct
- Repeated policy violations
- Academic dishonesty
- Security concerns
- Harassment
- Illegal activities
- Piracy or unauthorized distribution
- Abuse toward students, mentors, staff members, recruiters, or community members
- Activities harmful to academy operations or reputation
Such actions may be taken without refund where applicable.
10. CONSENT & ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By enrolling in BlackBox Learning and accessing academy services, students acknowledge and agree that:

- They agree to follow academy guidelines and professional standards
- They understand the requirements for certifications, internships, and placement eligibility
- They understand that placement assistance depends on multiple external and performance-related factors
- They consent to digital policy acceptance records maintained through LMS systems, forms, payments, emails, or academy platforms
- They understand that policy violations may result in academic or operational restrictions where necessary
Digital acceptance through enrollment forms, online payments, LMS systems, electronic checkboxes, email confirmations, or academy platforms shall constitute valid acknowledgment and acceptance of academy policies.
BlackBox Learning and Daffodilcore Private Limited reserve the right to reasonably update, revise, modify, restructure, or improve academy policies, academic systems, operational procedures, program structures, and student guidelines as required.
Major policy updates may be communicated through official academy communication channels, LMS systems, or registered email communication.
Students are encouraged to stay informed regarding the latest version of academy policies and operational guidelines.
